2013 Porsche Boxster

2013 Porsche Boxster

2013 Porsche Boxster: Lighter, More Muscular, More Distinctive and More Fuel-Efficient

Never before in the history of the Porsche Boxster has a change of generation been so comprehensive. The open-top two-seat car receives an entirely new lightweight body and a completely revamped chassis. The new Boxster weighs less than the previous generation and rides on a longer wheelbase and a wider track. These new dimensions are coupled with larger wheels and a new electromechanical power steering system to significantly enhance the mid-engine sports car's driving dynamics. The new Boxster boasts superior performance and is also up to 15 percent more fuel-efficient than previous models on the European cycle.
2013 Porsche BoxsterThe new Boxster benefits not only from an increased wheelbase but also shorter overhangs, while the windscreen has been shifted forward. The passengers are enclosed by the completely redesigned, fully electric top, which now dispenses with a convertible top compartment lid. The interior concept offers the occupants more space and reflects the new Porsche outline with a raked center console, which, originating with the Carrera GT ensures improved ergonomics in all models.

2012 Porsche Panamera GTS

More power and upgraded brakes, a body lowered by ten millimetres and the especially sportily tuned chassis with air suspension and PASM are the major technical modifications that make it the Porsche Panamera GTS capable of cutting it on the racing circuit. In terms of looks, the new Panamera GTS signals its independence by distinctive design features in the front-end, side and rear area as well as black highlights. The interior as well is rigorously tailored to the sporty personality with sports seats, SportDesign steering wheel with shift paddles, exclusive GTS leather interior and Alcantara surfaces.
The power unit in the new Panamera GTS is a modified 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, delivering 430 hp (316 kW) at 6,700 rpm, trumping the engine in its Panamera S/4S sister models by 30 hp (22 kW). The maximum torque also increased by comparison, from 500 Nm to 520 Nm. The way in which at the push of a button the Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmits the engine output to the all-wheel drive (PTM) – thanks to the Sport Chrono package featured as standard without interruption to the power flow – is especially dynamic.
This collaboration enables the Panamera GTS to sprint to 100 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, accelerating on to its top speed of 288 km/h. With NEDC fuel consumption of 10.9 l/100 km – only 10.7 l/100 km with low-friction tyres – the Panamera GTS remains as much of an efficiency role model in its milieu as all Porsche models.
The Panamera GTS is being launched in February 2012 with a price tag of 116.716 €.

2012 Hamann Porsche Panamera Cyrano

HAMANN CYRANO – A fascinating customizing program for Porsche Panamera

The name HAMANN-Motorsport is known all over the world. With the introduction of the new program for Porsche’s Panamera, the tuning company from Laupheim, Germany, commends itself again as the address to be when it comes to sporty accessories and exciting chassis designs for the posh models of the high-end sport cars.

Sporty elegance gives distinction to the HAMANN-CYRANO design: In order to meet the highly visual requirements and aerodynamic demands, the HAMANN engineers revamped the front of the four-seater completely. Larger air intakes in connection with perfectly integrated daytime running lights give the Porsche an even more dynamic look. Moreover, the optimized airflow – generated by the redesigned bonnet – reduces the lift at the front axle even further. Adding 60 mm width to the front and rear fenders makes the GranTurismo look even more imposing and are instrumental for the powerful overall appearance of the HAMANN customization. The HAMANN side skirts were modelled such as to steady the airflow across the sides and let the stylish sports car appear even closer to the tarmac and stretched. In order to reduce the up-lift forces at the rear axle, the HAMANN engineers developed a special diffuser rear apron for the sedan from Zuffenhausen. The apron encases the striking dual tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and makes this car’s rear a real eye catcher.
To bring the mighty appearance of the CYRANO to a full circle, HAMANN added its new 22-inch rims: UNIQUE FORGED “GUNMETAL”. The design of the extremely light wheel combines sportiness and elegance. The recommended front wheel/tyre combination is 9.5Jx22 inches with 265/30 ZR 22 tyres. The rear is fitted with 11.0Jx22 inch rims and 305/25 ZR 22 tyres.

Special eye catchers are the new alu wheels with special suspensions or a lowering module for the air suspension that lowers the Panamera’s center of gravity up to 30 mm. At the same time, the handling of the sports car is notably improved.
The powerful enhancement of the Panamera Turbo will soon be offered by HAMANN as the core part of its customisation program. Included in this upgrade – which is still under development – is a rear sports muffler as well as a new engine management system. The result is a performance increase by 80 hp and a torque that has been enhanced by 120 Nm.

HAMANN completely redesigns the interior of the Panamera and turns it into a Five-Star VIP Lounge. The factory-installed interior has been replaced with the finest leathers. The HAMANN aluminium pedal system shines brilliantly in the footwell and complements perfectly the medical applications of the car’s serial production interior.
Whether it is double clear-coat finish, leather, or Alcantara – what ever your heart’s desire, it is available upon request. From personalized foot mats to complete interior leather finish, everything is made with the highest degree of craftsmanship and precision. Individually designed and integrated into the vehicle by masters of their craft.

2012 Porsche Cayman R

Porsche Cayman R is powered by a tuned-up 3.4-litre six-cylinder engine developing 330 hp (243 kW). In the standard configuration it transmits its power to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox that propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.0 seconds. Or there is the option of the seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) that reduces its acceleration time to 4.9 seconds. For even more impressive sprinting performance, the Cayman R can be supplied with one of the optional Sport Chrono packages, taking it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds.
The new Porsche Cayman R coupe is capable of a top speed of 282 km/h (175 mph) with manual gearbox, or 280 km/h (174 mph) with PDK.
